NAPERVILLE, Ill., March 16, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Long-time Naperville resident and healthcare industry veteran Bill Kottmann has been promoted to President & CEO of Edward Hospital, effective July 1, reporting to Edward-Elmhurst System CEO Pam Davis.
Since the merger of Edward and Elmhurst Hospitals in 2013, Davis has held the positions of Edward-Elmhurst System CEO and Edward Hospital President & CEO. Davis remains System CEO to focus on System-wide strategies and hands over operational leadership of Edward Hospital to Kottmann. Elmhurst Hospital President & CEO Mary Lou Mastro will continue to report to Davis.

Kottmann is currently System Vice President of Physician and Ambulatory Network Development as well as President of Edward-Elmhurst's joint venture division. He joined Davis at Edward in 1991 as Vice President of Human Resources and became Vice President of Operations in 1993. In 2005, he was named President of Edward's joint venture division, a role he expanded to a System-level in 2013, responsible for physician and outpatient network development, joint venture strategies, and all real estate development and management.
Kottmann and wife, Donna, have lived in Naperville since 1991 where they raised two daughters. He is a founding board member and past chairman of the Naperville Development Partnership. He is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. He holds a BA in Environmental Science from the State University of New York, an MA in Psychology from Roosevelt University and an MBA from Benedictine University.
