Kontagent Announces Exclusive Partnership with Leading South Korean Web Portal Daum
Recently launched kSuite User Analytics platform enables the enterprise software provider to support 3rd party platforms and publishers worldwide
SAN FRANCISCO, Aug. 4, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Kontagent, the leading user analytics company, today unveiled a partnership with Daum, one of South Korea's top Internet portals. Daum will provide its developers with exclusive access to Kontagent's kSuite platform on its casual game portal Gamesville. kSuite is Kontagent's powerful user analytics platform that uncovers deep behavioral insights and usage patterns enabling developers to make data-driven decisions on game development and tuning.
Under the new partnership, developers on Gamesville will be able to leverage the kSuite dashboard to gain insights into arbitrary user segments through custom event tracking and path analysis. Armed with this deep level of data, developers will have access to insights they need to optimize their games around critical user retention and engagement metrics.
"We're tremendously excited to be partnering with Kontagent and leveraging their unique user analytics solution for our portfolio of social games. The explosion of user data on the social web has made platforms like kSuite indispensible in helping our developers gain behavioral insights and usage patterns," said Moon Hyo-eun, COO of Daum. "While there are other analytics solutions in the market, Kontagent has consistently demonstrated clear and tangible value to game developers in the marketplace. As the leader in enterprise-grade user analytics, they clearly understand the needs of developers and deliver the best insights we're looking for. "
The kSuite analytics solution solves the persistent problem developers face today in processing and filtering through massive data sets to find the most actionable metrics and insights. By teaming up with Kontagent, Daum is now able to bring scalable data processing and a best-practices framework for analyzing user data to developers who do not have the expertise or resources to develop such a sophisticated approach to user analysis and optimization.
"We're excited to be partnering with Daum to allow developers in the Korean market to leverage our unique analytics solution. Through this exclusive platform partnership, we aim to provide game developers with the best tools to increase their average revenues per user," said Jeff Tseng, co-founder and CEO of Kontagent. "We're making data-driven insights more accessible to 3rd party platform developers through this strategic partnership and will soon announce other partnerships where developers and players co-exist."
