DALLAS, Jan. 9, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Aprima Medical Software, a leading provider of innovative electronic health records (EHR), practice management (PM) and revenue cycle management solutions (RCM) for medical practices, today announced that it has again earned top-tier rating for the large and small clinic category from providers in the KLAS report Ambulatory RCM Services 2017: Finding Consistent Partners. The annual report evaluates how several RCM vendors compare to one another in their ability to meet market and client needs. Interviews with users of these vendors' RCM service provided the ratings and data.
Aprima was recognized as a high performing vendor for overall performance in the large (11+ physicians) and small clinic category. Aprima also demonstrated tremendous consistency in its ratings. While many of the 10 RCM vendors KLAS Research reviewed scored high in some areas and lower in others, Aprima rated highly across multiple categories, including which companies are true business partners, denials management versus money's worth, combined 2016 and 2017 customer satisfaction, guidance and partnership and transparency into billing/financial operations.
According to Aprima customer Susan Ruby, Practice Administrator at Pulmonary & Sleep Associates of South Florida, "The best choice we made was to add Aprima RCM, which has allowed us to see a substantial increase in revenue. I equate it to having our own 'remote' employees who are expert power users of numerous financial duties And I never have to worry about new billing employees needing to be trained, calling in sick or going on vacation. Our practice doesn't miss a beat!"
"Large growth in the RCM market has caused growing pains for many organizations. The resulting year-over-year inconsistency of many vendors is startling," said Michael Nissenbaum, president and CEO of Aprima. "This report shows that Aprima is one of the few that have bucked this trend and been able to deliver a consistent experience to our clients. Our proactive support and communication are major wins for our clients. We are focused on helping them streamline business processes and maximize revenue. It is gratifying to see these efforts recognized. Aprima is proud to have earned this recognition, which comes on the heels of our Frost & Sullivan award for RCM this past Spring, and the 2016 KLAS Ambulatory RCM Services Report where Aprima also earned very high ratings.
KLAS, an independent research organization, annually conducts in-depth interviews with participants from healthcare organizations who have had firsthand experience with their RCM vendors. The company's ratings recognize vendors that have excelled in their market segments and have demonstrated leadership in working with customers to resolve issues and match expectations to reality.
In addition to the quantitative rating of a company's performance, clients also provide KLAS with qualitative feedback. The following are selected commentaries from the report. For a complete view, please visit www.klasresearch.com.
- "Aprima's tool has an entire reports sections, and I can see up-to-date reports anytime I want. If I have questions, I can call my account manager, who can give me reports and who is pretty good at getting back to me in a timely fashion. The system is very accessible. I can see anything I want to see, and the system is very customizable."
- "Aprima works behind the scenes, and it doesn't interfere with anything we are doing here in the office. Their help is pretty seamless to us."
- "Aprima's transparency into billing was one reason we went with them over other vendors. When we get access to Aprima's EHR, we get access to their billing platform…We have had zero issues obtaining the data we need, and that really makes a difference."
