LOS ANGELES, Oct. 15, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- ZynxCare® emerged as the top-ranked solution for overall performance in the plans of care category, according to the results of the recently released KLAS report, "CDS Order Sets and Care Plans 2014: Choosing the Best Option."
One of a suite of clinical decision support (CDS) products from Zynx Health, the market leader in providing evidence- and experience-based clinical improvement solutions, ZynxCare provides actionable plans of care that enable providers to strategically coordinate patient- and family-focused care, reduce care disparities, and prevent avoidable and unnecessary readmissions. Respondents who participated in the study applauded the solution for providing content that is both current and easy to use.
"It is easy to access the information. We literally just have to click a button and the information is right there at our fingertips," noted one of the 139 providers who participated in the annual study conducted by KLAS, an independent healthcare IT research firm. http://www.klasresearch.com/
More specifically, when compared to the other solutions evaluated in this category, ZynxCare customers expressed greater satisfaction with the quality and scope of the content offered. Only 20 percent of Zynx customers cited a need for expanded content, while 40 percent of the other solutions' users called out such a need. In addition, just 7 percent of Zynx customers wanted more streamlined content, while 20 percent of the other solutions' customers said there is a need to streamline content.
ZynxOrder was also commended for its content and ease of use by the study's respondents, as the solution outscored the competition in the order sets category on measures such as "providing easily consumed content" and "keeping content current."
"We have worked diligently to provide our customers with the best content – the evidence-based information that can truly make a difference at crucial care moments," said Bertina Yen, M.D., executive vice president of the product group at Zynx Health. "We are proud that our customers are recognizing our efforts in this era of industry change, which is requiring healthcare providers to focus more keenly on improving care quality than ever before. By focusing care teams on what matters most, our solutions help drive the clinical decisions that truly impact patient outcomes."
