The mobile app makes it easy for Walmart shoppers to learn about the promotion featured on specially marked K-C products and claim Cars 2 points good toward merchandise rewards selected from the promotion's Cars 2 catalog. Here's how the Kimberly-Clark/CheckPoints partnership works:
- When a shopper enters a Walmart location and "checks in" via CheckPoints' app, they are directed to find Kimberly-Clark products carrying Cars 2 promotional stickers, which include Kleenex facial tissue, Pull-Ups training pants, Viva paper towels, Scott paper towels, Cottonelle bath tissue and Huggies diapers and wipes.
- After scanning the package barcode with their smartphones, shoppers immediately learn of available Cars 2 premium rewards.
- The more Kimberly-Clark products shoppers buy the more credits they can redeem for premium Cars 2 items, such as die-cast Cars 2 vehicles or Cars 2 movie tickets. The more products purchased, the higher the rewards.
