ABINGDON, Md., April 2, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Kiddie Academy^® Educational Child Care, a nationally recognized provider of comprehensive educational child care programs, today announced the company will be inviting families to engage in age-appropriate dance, art and music activities at 130 participating Academies across the nation with free indoor Music & More events throughout April and May. Activities offered are based on Kiddie Academy's Music & More curriculum, created in partnership with Kindermusik International, the world's leading provider of music-based education for children from birth through age seven.

Laugh & Learn (music classes for all ages): An active-listening program that advances early literacy development and expression skills in young learners. This class combines preschoolers' natural love of music, storytelling and imaginative play with age-appropriate group activities for kids that introduce early music concepts and foster independence, social and emotional skills, language growth and self-control.
Move & Groove (music class designed for children ages 4 – 5): A vocabulary-rich program that takes early literacy, phonemic awareness, music and pre-mathematics to the next step. In class, children are engaged in music and movement activities that also promote language, social and emotional skills, early math and early literacy, physical coordination, creativity and more.
Music & More (at home): So that families may continue learning at home, Kiddie Academy is offering a free Digital Family Guide packed with classroom companion resources. Each month, they can download classroom songs and stories for their personal family library as well as the monthly family magazine with stories, activities and developmental information. Parents can also download the free Kindermusik Radio app from iTunes (or get the full version that includes lyrics for $1.99). On Android, parents can find 25 albums of songs from Kindermusic International in the Google Play store.
