Key Air recently achieved Industry Audit Standard registration from the Air Charter Safety Foundation. This program sets the standard for the independent evaluation of an air charter operator's safety and regulatory compliance and is a valuable endorsement of Key Air's safety standards and practices.
"Key Air is proud to be among the highly respected companies that have achieved registration by the Air Charter Safety Foundation. The Air Charter Safety Foundation has created a high quality measurement tool that gets at the very core of aviation safety culture," said Bob Marinace, President and CEO of Key Air.
Key Air was also recently awarded continued Platinum operator status by ARG/US and completed an audit from IS-BAO (International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations). Key Air is now an
IS-BAO registered operator in addition to its current Wyvern approved status and participation in the
FAA's Safety Management System Pilot Program.
In addition, two Key Air employees have recently received specialized certifications in competitive industry programs. Key Air's Assistant Director of Operations, Cyndi Nadeau, recently became an NBAA Certified Aviation Manager. This program identifies qualified professionals to lead flight departments and companies that utilize business aircraft. The certification process tests proficiency in the following areas: leadership, personnel management, operations, technical and facilities services and business management.
"Cyndi has the distinction of being one of approximately one hundred forty CAM's nationwide. We are very proud of her achievements and pleased to have someone of her caliber as a part of our team," said Danny Olmstead, Director of Operations for Key Air. Ms. Nadeau has been employed with Key Air for over 9 years.
Eugene Mazzucco, a Key Air Flight Coordinator, just completed a 6-week course at Flight Safety International to become an FAA-licensed dispatcher. "Having Eugene as a licensed dispatcher adds to the depth of experience within the Flight Coordination Department at Key Air," said
Dale Pearce, Manager of Flight Coordination at Key Air.
Adds CEO Bob Marinace, "Key Air is a company with an outstanding and experienced group of people who have dedicated themselves to providing the finest private aviation experience. These latest achievements exemplify our continuous commitment to providing the best in safety and dependability for our clients."
Mr. Marinace was recently appointed to serve on the National Air Transportation Association (NATA) Board of Directors and is a former Chairman of its Air Charter Committee.
