Ketchum Promotes Partner Tyler Durham to President of Ketchum Change
NEW YORK, March 30, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Ketchum, one of the world leaders in communications and public relations, today named partner Tyler Durham president of Ketchum Change, the firm's change management specialty group. Ketchum Change is one of the firm's fastest-growing units.
In his new role, Durham will continue to oversee Ketchum's global network of change management and employee engagement consultants located in North America, Europe and the Middle East. He will lead the firm's efforts to continue to develop capabilities that help organizations act on the opportunities that constant change presents. Partner David Rockland, who has served as CEO of Ketchum Change since 2008, will turn his full attention to his role as managing director of Ketchum Global Research & Analytics after having worked with Durham to grow and differentiate the Ketchum Change business.
Most recently serving as managing director of Ketchum Change, Durham joined the organization in 2004 when it was called Stromberg Consulting. Durham led the development of Liquid Change, a working model that helps clients build capabilities within their organization to embrace and act on the opportunities that constant change presents, providing them with a competitive advantage.
"Under Tyler's leadership, Ketchum Change has demonstrated an impressive record of growth, attraction and retention of world-class talent, and it has established itself as an industry leader in transformational change, employee engagement and internal communications," said Rob Flaherty, senior partner, CEO and president of Ketchum.
Durham added, "I'm thrilled to continue partnering with so many talented colleagues and leaders who deliver strategic counsel and results for clients throughout the Ketchum Change network. Organizations and leaders today face a dizzying pace of change coupled with unparalleled complexity, so new approaches, methods and behaviors for leading and communicating change are required. Our role is to help clients navigate this dynamic environment and partner with them to re-evaluate how they lead and communicate to improve performance, successfully execute strategy, and energize and empower their most precious asset – their employees."
Durham has more than 20 years of leadership, communications, strategy and business transformation experience, having previously served as an organizational effectiveness consultant at Deloitte and Honeywell as well as serving as a captain in the U.S. Army.
Ketchum Change helps clients drive business performance by aligning the workplace with the marketplace and building powerful and enduring brands from the inside out, through managing organizational change, shaping high-performance cultures, engaging and developing talent, and communicating effectively. As such, the specialty group helps leaders, teams and organizations thrive in a world of constant, fluid change.
