Ketchum Grows Digital Business Unit with Addition of Four New Hires
New Talent Draws Experience from PwC, Digitas, MTV World
NEW YORK, May 15, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Ketchum, one of the world's leading communications firms, continues to add new senior talent to Ketchum Digital, the firm's full-service interactive strategy, Web design and development, video production and multimedia development group that helps companies tell their stories to their consumers. The agency's newest colleagues bring a wealth of cross-disciplinary expertise from the advertising, consulting and media sectors. This experience will inform Ketchum's global social and technology strategy, interactive marketing and multimedia content development.
Three of the new team members are based in New York and one is based in Atlanta:
Phil Swire, Senior Vice President, Digital Strategy & Technology, New York
Phil Swire leads Ketchum's development function in the U.S. and oversees technology strategy across the Ketchum network. A digital strategist, Swire joins Ketchum from PricewaterhouseCoopers where he was a leader in that firm's digital strategy practice. Prior to PwC, he held roles with Direct Partners Inc., HauteLook.com, Synoptek Inc. and International Paper. He holds master's and bachelor's degrees from Carnegie Mellon University.
Matt Browher, Senior Vice President, Digital Strategy, Atlanta
Matt Browher has extensive experience in strategy development, team management and interactive marketing, having recently worked at Digitas and as the digital practice lead for FleishmanHillard in Atlanta. Previously, he worked at Initiative Media, IQ Interactive, Avenue A/Razorfish and Cingular Wireless in digital strategy positions of increasing responsibility. Browher began his career in strategy consulting with PricewaterhouseCoopers and Arthur Andersen before earning his M.B.A. from Kennesaw State University.
Amy Andrieux, Vice President, Multimedia Content & Strategy, New York
Formerly editorial director at MTV World, Amy Andrieux oversees the Ketchum Digital video group, helps lead content strategy for the U.S., and helps to evolve Ketchum Digital's multimedia capabilities. Andrieux brings a wealth of multimedia, video and content development experience to Ketchum from her experience developing and leading editorial strategy for MTV World online portals. Previously, she was general manager and executive editor of The Source magazine and spent time as a freelance marketing consultant. She also worked as a Web producer at TMM Agency and Syrup Advertising Agency. During her career she has published a cultural magazine and launched her own digital cultural website. She studied legal communications and journalism at Howard University.
Kristen Massaro, Vice President, Digital Strategy, New York
Kristen Massaro supports a number of key accounts, including Michelin and Gillette, and lends support to other markets in the Ketchum network, with emphasis on the Southern U.S region. Massaro, who has deep expertise in social media engagement, was previously with with Emanate, a public relations sister agency to Ketchum, where she led the digital and social strategy specialty since 2011. Prior to Emanate, Massaro was director of social media at Maclaren. She has previously worked at Moody's Investors Service and KCSA Worldwide. She has a bachelor's degree in communications from Manhattanville College.
