Jurassic World Commercial with Barbasol and Universal Pictures Produced by Studio Center
VIRGINIA BEACH, Va., June 2, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Studio Center, headquartered in Virginia Beach, Va., teamed up with Barbasol and Universal Pictures to create a commercial promoting the new Jurassic World movie and limited edition Barbasol/Jurassic World collector cans.
Director Derrick Borte (The Joneses, 2010) led the 18-member Studio Center team in recreating the lost can scene from the original Jurassic Park film. Studio Center's Production team for the commercial included Dan Parisi, Producer,
Chris Karvellas, director of Photography, Steve Strickland, Editor, Peter Pope, Sound Design/Mix, Darryl Gangadeen, 3D Artist, Trey Beckwith, Associate Producer, and Maria Workman, Account Executive.
The commercial, which started airing nationally on May 16, was shot on Red Epic Dragon in 6K and utilized a rain machine, a fog machine, a lightning machine and a considerable amount of water. Ken Waldron from Barbasol was on the set and participated in every step of the process.
