Juice Press Announces Store Opening in Greater Boston Area at Chestnut Hill's The Street
Move Reinforces Brand's Position as a Leader Within the Healthy Food Industry
NEW YORK, Feb. 26, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Following a year of robust growth, Juice Press, leading cold pressed juice, health food and smoothie company, continues to expand announcing today a series of plans for 2015 including the opening of a new store in the greater Boston area. The 3,100 square foot space will be located at The Street, the region's premier open-air shopping destination found in the heart of Chestnut Hill. The Street's remarkable collection of high-end retail and dining destinations coupled with its commitment to creative event series that range from public art installations to live music to outdoor yoga classes, has prompted USA Today to name it among the "10 Best Places to Shop in Massachusetts" and The Improper Bostonian to name it Boston's Best Shopping Destination. The addition of Juice Press' first Massachusetts storefront underscores the venue's commitment to offering the best to the neighborhood and customers who shop there, and is a significant step toward establishing a Juice Press presence across the East Coast.
At the new location, consumers will be able to buy a variety of the brand's signature grab-and-go healthy food and drink options, or stop and sit down for a meal or snack. The store will boast a salad station offering customers the opportunity to curate their own delicious meal using the freshest ingredients and non-processed salad dressings. The extensive soup collection will be available offering respite from the frosty Massachusetts temperatures.
Dedicated to using organic produce and ingredients, Juice Press offers options that are plant based with no high pressure processing (hpp) or genetically modified organisms (gmos). Their cold pressed juices, gourmet superfood smoothies, food entrees, salads, sandwiches and desserts are all made fresh daily. Their vegan ProViotic is major allergen free, recognized by two Ivy League institutions and sold in capsule form or included in select Juice Press products.
The greater Boston area expansion and subsequent plans for 2015 will continue the forward trajectory of the brand while remaining true to its mission of offering the best nutritious grab-and-go options for those looking to cultivate and live a healthy lifestyle. As the landscape of healthy eating continues to evolve, the consistent positive growth of Juice Press underscores its role as a leader in the industry.
2014 was a year of meaningful growth for Juice Press. It opened nine new stores including a hybrid store and super-kitchen in Long Island City, a new Hamptons location, and its first door outside of New York in Greenwich, Connecticut. Its already extensive menu options expanded to include additional breakfast offerings, make your own salad stations, additional hot and cold soup options, new varieties of the cult-favorite protein shakes, and the brand's signature ProViotic, a 100% plant-based and vegan probiotic created from a special strain of the l. bulgaricus subspecies called glb44 sourced from the snowdrop flower and grown in fresh, raw vegetable juice.
In 2015, Juice Press will continue this period of controlled growth. In addition to the greater Boston area store opening, new stores are in consideration both in New York and beyond, taking the healthy footprint to other markets and satisfying the demands of its customers. Innovative menu options will be introduced throughout the year. In time for the cold and flu season, Juice Press recently expanded its popular 'fireball' family by offering the cult favorite GINGER FIREBALL as a "Sucker" in tablet form and MOTHER F&*%IN' FIREBALL, a hybrid of two Juice Press favorites, MOTHER EARTH and GINGER FIREBALL. Adding to their grab-and-go food options will be a new line of health-oriented snack bars formulated for and created by Juice Press. Their soups will also be served year-round at Equinox locations across New York City, offering health conscious Equinox customers healthy options at additional points of interest.
"The Juice Press brand is dedicated to offering customers the best choice for nutritious food and drink options in the marketplace today," says Michael Karsch, Chairman of the Board of Juice Press. "As we expand to the greater Boston area and look to the year ahead and beyond, we are determined to stay true to our mission of leading the health food industry with uncompromising standards while simultaneously expanding to serve the needs of our customers across the country."
Underscoring its role as a driving force in the healthy-eating movement, Juice Press receives countless testimonials and accolades from physicians, nutritionists, healthy lifestyle and fitness gurus, athletes and notable celebrities. Successful partnerships have been established and will continue to grow with nationally known health and fitness brands. The brand has evolved its own highly successful Run Club providing free Juice Press products for runners weekly runs around the five boroughs.
