Jones New York Celebrates The 'Empowering Your Confidence' Movement at The Women's Conference
NEW YORK, Oct. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Jones New York, a division of The Jones Group Inc. (NYSE: JNY), today announced its participation in The Women's Conference, the nation's premier forum for women, taking place at the Long Beach Convention Center. Jones New York, the primary apparel partner of the conference, will continue its "Empowering Your Confidence" messaging with ambassador, former White House Press Secretary Dee Dee Myers, and exclusive JNY "Style Guy" Lloyd Boston. The campaign, which was launched in September, celebrates the brand's 40 years of empowering women's confidence and lives, through style.
The "Empowering Your Confidence" campaign is inspired by the tremendous impact working women have had on all aspects of American life. According to a study conducted in October 2009 by Maria Shriver and the Center for American Progress, half of all American workers are women. This study helped to inspire Jones New York's message of empowerment.
