John Hancock Retirement Plan Services' Slotwinski Becomes President of National Institute of Pension Administrators (NIPA)
BOSTON, Aug. 7, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Ann Slotwinski, vice president, Third Party Administrator (TPA) Services, John Hancock Retirement Plan Services (JH RPS), has become president of the National Institute of Pension Administrators (NIPA), an organization dedicated to creating opportunities and experiences that significantly grow TPA firms and, in turn, the retirement plan industry.
Slotwinski had served a four-year term as a member of the NIPA Board in which she worked with other board members to provide strong leadership for the association, strategic guidance and to set a sound and accurate course for its future.
"Ann has been an asset to the NIPA organization for many years," said Laura J. Rudzinski, executive director, NIPA. "We look forward to her leadership as we continue to develop plans and programs that will grow revenue, increase productivity and streamline processes for our TPA business owners."
Slotwinski joined John Hancock's parent Manulife in 1982 and worked in RPS in various capacities since 1996. In her current role, which she has held since 2012, Slotwinski is responsible for overseeing John Hancock's TPA relationships by defining strategies and implementing tactics to jointly drive sales and aid in retention for both John Hancock and our TPA partners in this critically important relationship.
"We are very proud of Ann's contributions to the industry and know that her skills and enthusiasm will bring great value in her new role with NIPA," said Peter Gordon, president, John Hancock Retirement Plan Services.
