Jive Positioned as a 'Leader' in Magic Quadrant for Social CRM
Jive a Leader in Two Magic Quadrants
PALO ALTO, Calif., June 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Jive Software announced that it was positioned as a Leader in the Gartner report "Magic Quadrant for Social CRM, 2010" (1).
Jive has been positioned as a Leader in two Magic Quadrants, including "Magic Quadrant for Social CRM, 2010," (1) and the "Magic Quadrant for Social Software in the Workplace, 2009" (2).
Gartner positions vendors in the "Leaders" quadrant based on completeness of vision and their ability to execute on that vision. According to Gartner, "Leaders in the Social CRM Magic Quadrant will exhibit two characteristics. First, their software must benefit both company and community. Leaders show benefits to enterprises by demonstrating ROI and supporting KPIs, and Leaders' software convinces users that they will get something valuable by participating in a conversation or community. Second, Leaders' offerings demonstrate support for multiple CRM processes, not just one domain, and have substantial revenue coming specifically from their social CRM offerings." (1)
"Jive is pleased to be recognized as a leader in Gartner's new 'Magic Quadrant for Social CRM,'" said Tony Zingale, Jive CEO. "I'd like to thank our people, customers, and partners for our success."
According to Gartner, "Gartner's first Magic Quadrant for Social CRM responds to the growing interest and investment in social applications to support sales, marketing and customer service business processes. Social CRM application spending will grow at a faster rate than traditional CRM spending." (1)
"Collaboration is key to our sustained growth," said Tony Uphoff, CEO UBM TechWeb. "With over 6,000 UBM employees across the globe, unlocking this collaboration isn't a simple issue, however. Solutions like Jive's Social Business Software work as a communications operating system for our business. Jive has significantly improved our ability to collaborate, drive decision-making and become a more agile company."
