"We believe our social business platform unleashes creativity, drives innovation, and improves workplace productivity by increasing engagement within the enterprise, as well as with customers and partners," said John F. Rizzo, chief marketing officer at Jive Software. "We want to demonstrate how business as usual with antiquated email systems and dusty portals doesn't enable employees to work as productively as they could with modern social business systems."
Social Business platforms are creating groundbreaking ways to engage employees, customers and the entire social web by leveraging social technologies found in the consumer world with capabilities adapted for the workplace. In the same way social media forever changed consumers' communication with their personal networks, Social Business technologies are now revolutionizing how enterprises can communicate and collaborate with their business networks. Jive's platform and applications mix the consumer-like simplicity users love with the scalability, security and controls enterprises need. Jive delivers a powerful combination of community and collaboration features with social networking and monitoring capabilities all within one integrated platform.
"In today's social media-driven world, companies are quickly realizing that they must change the way they get work done," says Tory Johnson, New York Times Bestselling author, Good Morning America contributor, and small business champion. "That means taking advantage of social business tools like Jive to communicate and collaborate in a way that is better, efficient, productive and ultimately more enjoyable. Jive's industry-leading technology puts them at the forefront of social business, and its users are truly office heroes who are changing the face of business today."
The campaign begins July 16th with online ads and video running on sites such LinkedIn, Wired and WSJ directing audiences to jiveon.com, where companies can initiate a free 30-day trial to discover first-hand how Jive can positively transform their workplace collaboration. The ads and video are intended to inspire knowledge workers to knock down the walls, destroy the status quo and inspire their companies to collaborate and communicate in a more innovative way.
The largest component of the campaign is a digital video on the NASDAQ Billboard in New York's Times Square. The first-time ad display is intended to stop onlookers in their tracks by creating the illusion of frustrated office workers tossing papers and taking a jack hammer to the traditional workplace. The iconic 120 foot tall rounded LED display is located at 43rd and Broadway, andthe video will run four times an hour from 7a.m. - 6p.m. from July 16-20 and August 20-24.
"We are building a story with 'The Day You Give Them Jive,' both from a messaging and visual standpoint," said Gary Theut, director of client services at Pereira & O'Dell. "From everything that is wrong with the workplace to finding resolution in Jive's social collaboration platform, we want to express it all."
The ads will be accompanied by a social media campaign developed by Austin-based social media management platform provider, Spredfast. The social media campaign will spotlight and search for real "office heroes" and will run across YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google+ and LinkedIn.
World-class clients leveraging Jive as a key part of their customer service strategy include heavy hitters such as Yum! Brands, T-Mobile, and Avon. The market for social enterprise applications and related services is projected to expand to $6.4 billion in 2016 from an estimated $900 million in 2011, according to a November report from Forrester Research, Inc.
