Jim Cramer, Star Of CNBC's 'Mad Money,' To Speak To NJCU Students On February 11; Public Welcome

JERSEY CITY, N.J., Feb. 7, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Jim Cramer, the host of CNBC's Mad Money w/Jim Cramer and co-host of Squawk on The Street, is featured in a broadcast event sponsored by the New Jersey City University (NJCU) chapter of The National Society of Leadership and Success. The event, entitled Get Rich Carefully, will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2014, 6:00 – 9:00 p.m., in the Margaret Williams Theatre of Hepburn Hall on the NJCU campus at 2039 Kennedy Boulevard in Jersey City and is free.

In Mr. Cramer's presentation, he will discuss how students with college debt can have a chance at financial success. Then, he will explain the value of the stock market and low-risk vs. high-risk investing. Lastly, he will focus on how anyone can make money work for themselves.  Mr. Cramer will draw upon his thirty-five years of experience as a Wall Street veteran as he gives financial advice to the audience.

Mr. Cramer is the author of several best-selling books, including Confessions of a Street Addict, You Got Screwed, Jim Cramer's Real Money, Jim Cramer's Mad Money, Jim Cramer's Stay Mad for Life, and Jim Cramer's Getting Back to Even. In January 2014, he published Jim Cramer's Get Rich Carefully.

A magna cum laude graduate of Harvard College, Mr. Cramer earned his J.D. from Harvard Law School. He worked in sales and trading at Goldman Sachs before starting his own hedge fund, which produced an annualized return of 24 percent.

Mr. Cramer retired from his fund in 2000 to embrace radio and television to help educate people about the financial markets.
