Jason Brist Appointed Executive Vice President of Advertising Sales At Outdoor Channel
Veteran of Outdoor Channel, Fox Cable Networks and ESPN Regional Television to Lead All Advertising Initiatives Spanning Network, Mobile and Digital
TEMECULA, Calif., Dec. 04, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Outdoor Channel, America's Leader In Outdoor TV, today announced the promotion of Jason Brist to Executive Vice President of Advertising Sales. Jason will lead Outdoor Channel's ongoing efforts in developing and executing innovative advertising and sponsorship opportunities that tap into Outdoor Channel's loyal audiences, including cross-platform offerings that utilize the network's digital, mobile and social media resources. Based in Chicago, Brist will report directly to Jim Liberatore, President and CEO of Outdoor Channel.
A six-year veteran of Outdoor Channel, Jason was most recently Senior Vice President, Media Sales. He established the network's new Central Region office in addition to leading the Southeast and Southwest regional offices. He also led sales strategy and management covering Outdoor Channel's digital, mobile and social extensions. Among his many accomplishments, he developed the first exclusive truck partnership in network history with Chevrolet Silverado Saturdays, and opened and/or grew the brand's beer, spirits, insurance, retail and hardware and DIY categories.

Prior to joining Outdoor Network, Jason was Vice President, Central Region Advertising Sales at Fox Cable Networks, where he led the FX Networks and National Geographic Channel sales teams. He began his career at ESPN Regional Television, where he helped to generate adverting sales for Big Ten Conference football and basketball, among other major collegiate conferences. He is a graduate of Indiana University.
