This has led to a workplace environment where employees spend up to 35 percent of their time simply looking for information and where it takes more than 20 minutes to get back on task after each interruption. It's no surprise then, that according to a study by McKinsey and Company, employees spend more than 50 percent of a typical workday orchestrating work, rather than actually producing work.
