Jamul Casino® Launches Poker Room with Tournament Featuring Poker Pros, Celebrity Guests, and $50,000 Guaranteed Prize Pool
JAMUL, Calif., Feb. 13, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- On Friday, February 15, 2019, Jamul Casino® will host a Grand Opening celebration for its new Poker Room. Located at 14145 Campo Road in Jamul, CA, the event will feature Native American traditions, a ribbon-cutting, and the inaugural Golden Cap poker tournament. The tournament will bring together hundreds of local poker players, celebrities, and poker pros vying for a piece of the $50,000 guaranteed prize pool.
Adjacent to the High Limit Room at Jamul Casino®, the new Poker Room will feature 10 high-action tables, table-side dining and full bar service, and the latest equipment and technology. Added at the request of its guests, Jamul Casino®'s Poker Room will host ongoing live games and tournaments beginning at noon each day.

Players interested in participating in the inaugural Golden Cap poker tournament may buy-in for $500 plus a $50 entry fee beginning February 11 at the Jamul Casino Poker Room, or at 10am on game day, February 15. In addition to a cash pay-out, the winner will receive a golden baseball cap with water droplet emblem, and a 24K gold-plated chip cap. The tournament also offers ten $500 prizes as bounties for players who knock out the Jamul Tribal Council, poker professionals, or celebrities playing in the tournament. Bountied players include:
