JAMBALAYA! The Original SoupMan Stirs Up the Soup Aisle with Three Mouth-Stunning New Flavors
More than 4,000 Supermarkets Nationwide Stock Shelves with the "7 Wonders of the World"
NEW YORK, Aug. 21, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Soupman, Inc. (Public trading symbol: SOUP), the parent company of the brand of best-tasting soup in the world, The Original SoupMan®, is proud to announce the expansion of its retail line with three new flavors that represent the pinnacle of the brand's commitment to quality, innovation and the elevation of the soup experience.
The three new flavors – Crab Corn Chowder, Chicken Gumbo and the "Seinfeld" classic which is always pronounced Jam-ba- lAAAAya! – will be newly available as of September 2013 in soup aisles nationwide. They join the classic four varieties to create a collection the company calls "The 7 Wonders of the World," as Al Yeganeh's recipes have culinary inspiration from multiple countries, cultures and traditions. The new varieties include:
- Jambalaya! - Born on the Bayou, with French and Caribbean influence you can taste in every bite. A rich tomato-based stew with whole shrimp, scallops, crayfish, fresh chicken and Al's custom spicy Andouille sausage.
- Chicken Gumbo - Another Big Easy classic, reinvented by Al. Lovingly-simmered chicken breasts, tomatoes, okra, bell peppers, carrots, collard greens and celery, with just the right the right chili pepper kick and Al's unique blend of global spices.
- Crab Corn Chowder - Combine the finest Maryland blue crab you can find, add fresh corn from family farms in the Midwest, and blend with peppers, onions and celery for classic hearty and heart-warming chowder that pushes the borders of deliciousness.
