IPC The Hospitalist Company Announces "Providers of the Year" for 2010
NORTH HOLLYWOOD, Calif., March 29, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- IPC The Hospitalist Company, Inc. (Nasdaq: IPCM), a leading national physician group practice company, announced today the names of its three "Providers of the Year for 2010." The winners, in alphabetical order, are: Jasmin Manalo Baleva, M.D., Practice Group Leader, Houston Region; Randolph A. Clark, M.D., Practice Group Leader, Phoenix Region; and Patricia O'Quinn, FNP, Tennessee Region.
This year, in recognition of the Company's growing presence across the continuum of inpatient care, IPC's annual awards program was expanded to include providers who practice in post-acute care settings. Dr. Baleva was honored as "Hospitalist of the Year." Dr. Clark was chosen "Post Acute Provider of the Year" and Patricia O'Quinn was named "Nurse Practitioner of the Year."
Selected by IPC's senior management team, the award includes an honorarium to each of the three recipients. Additionally, IPC will make a $2,500 donation to the charity of choice for each of the recipients. The donation will be on behalf of IPC as well as the facility in which each of the recipients serves.
