NEW YORK, July 26, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Investopedia, the web's premier source of trusted financial content, today announced that Advisor Insights, which connects Investopedia's 23 million unique monthly users with leading financial experts, has generated over 2,000 answers from financial advisors and has exposed their advisors to over 2 million page views in under four months.
Launched in March 2016, Advisor Insights helps users better understand financial investments, from the simple to the highly complex, through access to insights from financial advisors.
"We wanted to create a product that was simultaneously beneficial to Investopedia's audience as well as financial advisors," comments David Siegel, CEO of Investopedia. "With Advisor Insights, Investopedia enables financial advisors to showcase their unique value and build their personal brands across Investopedia's massive investor audience."
Investopedia has quickly reached this milestone by providing a series of perks to help financial advisors promote their business. Perks may include:
- Press Opportunities: Eligible advisors get notified when reporters are searching for financial advisors to quote or interview for an article.
- Marketing Video: Eligible advisors receive a professionally-filmed video to promote their practice.
- Newsletter Feature: Eligible advisors will be featured on the Investopedia Term of the Day newsletter, sent to nearly 1 million subscribers.
- Geo-targeted display advertising: Eligible advisors' practices will be promoted on at least 50,000 display ad impressions on Investopedia.
"Investopedia allows me to reach an audience I otherwise might not be able to," comments Bob Maloney, Squam Lakes Financial Advisors, LLC. "After reading my answer on Advisor Insights, a lead contacted me for a financial plan including several trusts for kids and potential grandchildren."
Investopedia's significant reach has played an important role in the platform's rapid growth, enabling participating advisors to significantly increase their brand awareness. Results show that over 75 percent of advisors who have contributed to the platform in the last 60 days have each received over 1,000 page views to their articles/answers, including over 60 advisors who have received over 10,000 page views, and an advisor who has received over 165,000 page views.
"In a rapidly changing landscape, it is crucial for financial advisors to find a way to stand out," adds Siegel. "We recognize that advisors face numerous challenges in light of growing robo-advisory offerings and turbulent global markets. We are focused on delivering ROI for advisors, which is why we routinely ask for feedback via surveys and conversations, to make sure we are giving them the best opportunity to grow their digital presence."
