Invest in Others Charitable Foundation Announces New Members to Board of Directors
NEWTON, Mass., Sept. 17, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The Invest in Others Charitable Foundation, a non-profit organization that encourages, recognizes, and supports the philanthropic and volunteer activities of financial advisors, announced today that seven new members have been elected to serve on the Foundation's Board of Directors.

The Invest in Others Charitable Foundation honors excellence in philanthropy through its Community Leadership Awards. Hundreds of financial advisors from firms across the industry are nominated each year by their peers for exemplifying outstanding leadership qualities and actively volunteering to improve their communities and make a difference in the lives of others. This year's awards dinner is Thursday, September 18 in New York City, where the following awards will be presented: Catalyst Award, Community Service Award, Global Community Impact Award, Volunteer of the Year Award, and Lifetime Achievement Award. Invest in Others will donate over $150,000 to the designated charities of the finalists and winners.
Following this year's awards dinner, Invest in Others finalists, winners, top sponsors, and Board members will visit the NASDAQ MarketSite in New York City's Time Square on Friday, September 19. In honor of the occasion, Bill Dwyer will ring the NASDAQ Opening Bell.
