PITTSBURGH, March 9, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- In an effort to help save the lives of both humans and animals, an inventor from Layton, Utah, has developed the ANIMAL WARNING DEVICE, a device that emits an ultra high-pitched audio sound that can only be heard by animals and not humans. The intent is to stop animals in their tracks and redirect their path back toward wooded areas or the forest.
"I developed my invention to prevent animals and humans from being in a fatal accident. My invention will keep animals from being hit, as well as spare families the pain from losing their beloved pets," said the inventor. "I travel a lot with my family, and I know that I would personally feel safer and more secure if I knew that animals would not be wandering across busy roadways, which can lead to horrific traffic accidents that kill both people and animals."
The ANIMAL WARNING DEVICE helps redirect animals back into their habitat. In turn, this helps to reduce collisions on urban, suburban or rural roads. This device protects wildlife and saves animals from being hit. It also reduces the amount of road kill on roadways.
The device is inaudible to humans yet will not harm the hearing of animals. Finally, it is waterproof and solar-powered for continual operation, and is producible in various frequencies to be heard by select animals.
The original design was submitted to the Salt Lake City sales office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
