International Furniture and Transportation Logistics Council (IFTLC) Conference Celebrates 55th Anniversary with Keynote by La-Z-Boy SVP Otis Sawyer
The annual conference takes place from May 13 to 15 in Fort Lauderdale, FL, and will provide information on the industry's latest technologies, trends, and legislation.
BROOKLYN, MI, Feb. 12, 2015 /CNW/ - The International Furniture and Transportation Logistics Council, Inc. (IFTLC) is celebrating the 55th anniversary of its annual conference from May 12 to 15, at Lago Mar Resort in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. To mark the occasion, Otis S. Sawyer, President of England, Inc., Senior Vice-President of La-Z-Boy's Non-Branded Upholstery, and President, La-Z-Boy Logistics, Inc., will deliver the keynote address, broaching the important role of logistics for domestic furniture manufacturers.
The annual IFTLC event provides attendees with insight on innovative technologies, new trends, and the latest legislation that may impact their businesses. This year's conference will focus on regulations impacting home delivery, the issues facing land shippers and ocean freight, and how the Internet is ushering in a smart and interconnected era for the industry.
