InterImage Awarded $10 Million Unified Contracting System Contract with Federal Aviation Administration
ARLINGTON, Va., July 15, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- InterImage, Inc. was awarded the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) Unified Contracting System (UCS) contract to unify FAA's procurement processes under one system. UCS will yield significant efficiency improvements in the procurement process, as well as improvements in FAA's overall acquisition cycle, reducing costs and eliminating redundant and paper-based processes.
Under this contract, InterImage will design and develop the UCS solution, implementing a Business Process Management platform, dashboards, a vendor portal, and document management capabilities and integration with FAA's financial systems. UCS, an end-to- end contract lifecycle management system, will provide accurate and timely acquisition data, electronic storage and retrieval of contractual documents and data, and management information reports.
