"We welcome our new franchisees in Tennessee and Connecticut to our network of more than 300 offices which offer clients the confidence provided by our entire continuum of care ranging from non-medical senior home care to pediatrics to palliative and hospice care," Kathleen Gilmartin, president and CEO of Interim HealthCare said. "Our new franchisees are already involved in their local communities, a characteristic which has proven to be a driver in providing the very highest quality of home healthcare, Interim HealthCare's trademark for nearly five decades now."
Interim HealthCare of Middle Tennessee
Carol Penterman, owner of Interim HealthCare of Middle Tennessee, was formerly the Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Nashville Opera Association. After 19 years, Penterman decided to further her commitment to the community and chose home care as a new way to serve the community and maintain the values of excellence and integrity she established at the Opera. The franchise began serving clients in late 2012 and plans to hold grand opening festivities later this year.
"I am proud to be joining one of the nation's leading home care companies whose mission is to improve people's lives by providing personalized care, respect and dignity," said Penterman. "I look forward to serving the Middle Tennessee community and ensuring our clients live enriched, independent and safe lives."
Interim HealthCare of Fairfield County
Although Interim HealthCare has had a presence elsewhere in Connecticut for decades, Andy Braver and Brian Schiller are the first to launch a franchise in Fairfield County. Business partners and brothers-in-law, Braver and Schiller formerly owned a state-of-the-art medical diagnostic imaging center in South Florida, Braver served as the chief operating officer and Schiller the director of radiology services. Braver is also an attorney and certified by Healthcare Compliance Association. The two live in Fairfield County and plan to begin serving patients in April. They will hold grand opening festivities later in 2013.
"We were drawn to the franchise model because the expert team offering support and experience from the corporate office is highly appealing," Braver said. "Our research returned all positive feedback, proving Interim HealthCare's long history of excellence in the home care space."
"We're looking forward to joining forces and feel Interim HealthCare's mission, vision and core values are a perfect fit for us," Schiller said.
Interim HealthCare has nearly five decades in the healthcare industry. Largely due to the high level of support and other benefits associated with the company's longevity, franchisees enjoy an unusually long average tenure of 18 years although some owners have been in the system more than 30 years. A video with franchisee feedback is available here. Franchise opportunities are available throughout the country. Qualified candidates should possess a minimum net worth of $400,000, and a minimum liquidity of $50,000. Franchisees can expect their initial investment to range from approximately $115,500 to $188,500 including the franchise fee.
