Insight Direct Announces 48 Percent Quarter-over-Quarter Revenue Growth for its Software-as-a-Service Field Service Management Solution
Celebrates Largest Franchise Deployment into 43 House Doctors Locations
BOSTON, April 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Insight Direct, a leading provider of software that helps small and mid-size (SMB) field service companies run their businesses better, today announced that Q1 2010 revenue for its software-as-a-service (SaaS) field management solution grew 48 percent over Q4 2009.
In the quarter ending March 31, 2010, more than 35 new field service businesses deployed the web-based SaaS solution to help maximize productivity and billable hours and minimize time spent on paperwork and scheduling. During the quarter, more than 45,000 jobs - representing over $6 million in field service revenues - were booked, scheduled, and managed by both new and existing customers using the software. This brings the total volume of field service jobs processed by Insight Direct’s SaaS solution to over 130,000 since its January 2009 launch or approximately $20 million of field service revenues.
During the quarter, House Doctors, a professional home repair and home improvement franchise organization, deployed Insight Direct’s SaaS software into 43 of its locations. House Doctors is now able to provide franchisees with a common and easy-to-use web-based platform for efficiently running daily operations, while the parent company has standardized reporting, and can better benchmark franchise performance and improve marketing.

- Grew monthly recurring revenue (MRR) ten times over Q1 2009.
- Increased average MRR per customer by 24 percent over the previous quarter.
- Generated 31 percent more cash than the previous quarter.
- Continued to attract new talent to the leadership team. Key hires included William Agush as VP of Marketing and Michael Conley as VP of Sales.
- Transitioned over 20 companies from on-premise products to the company’s SaaS solution.
- Increased penetration into the SMB and franchise field service markets including:
- More than 30 new customers in commercial & residential cleaning.
- 65 new customers in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, tech and other install/maintain/repair service businesses.
- 4 new customers in franchise businesses, including the Leather & Vinyl Doctor and Black Dawg Sealcoat, encompassing over 75 franchisee locations.
