Insider Media Management Chosen by diggidi to Drive Downloads for Unique Dating Phone Application
BOCA RATON, Fla., Nov. 16, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The unique smartphone application focusing on turning eye contact into 'hi' contact has selected Insider Media Management as its public relations firm of record.
"diggidi (www.diggidi.com) is a mobile application ready to use at any given moment, when a user wants to connect with someone interesting in real life," explains Founder Leo Moravtchik.
"Imagine if you had only one second to connect to someone, what can you do that is interesting and unintimidating?" says Insider Media Management (www.insidermediamgmt.com) president J.P. Hervis. "diggidi is designed with an understanding that chance meetings can become powerful moments in a person's life," says the former award-winning TV news reporter.
When a diggidi user sees someone they want to connect with, but time, opportunity or setting may prevent it from happening, the user can press the diggidi button in the app to get a unique image. They then show the person their screen with the image. If the interest is mutual, the other person will run the app on their phone and it will ask them "what did you see." Once they answer, they gain access to a private and anonymous chat without any need to provide personal details.
"diggidi is a secure way of communicating, without revealing too much information about yourself right away," says Moravtchik. He adds, "You are not just 'looking people up' from an endless database. No profiles or details are available to anyone until the user chooses to reveal them."
"It is the application that will prove that a picture is worth a thousand pickup lines. There has never been a dating tool for the modern day social media, mobile technology world like this one," says Hervis.
Insider Media will coordinate a grass roots effort of generating downloads and signs up for the one-of-a-kind digital dating tool. "This app is about generating personal connections, so it is appropriate the onset of our outreach strategy is to get face-to-face with the audiences that would be most interested," says Hervis.
Insider Media's campaign will begin with an outreach program on college campuses utilizing brand ambassadors and integrating social media marketing. The PR firm recognized for mastering the development of a client's story and earning media attention, plans on beginning the media relations portion of the campaign in the early part of 2016.
