NEW YORK, May 14, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Informa Financial Intelligence's Zephyr and Aapryl, a provider of predictive manager selection and portfolio construction software, announced today a strategic alliance which will make Informa Financial Intelligence's PSN Separately Managed Accounts (SMA) data available on Aapryl's Predictive Manager Research Platform. Additionally, as part of the strategic alliance, Informa will be a reseller of the Aapryl platform and Aapryl will be a reseller of PSN SMA data.
"Our partnership with Aapryl gives us the opportunity to combine our extensive data with their predictive manager research platform," said Chris Volpe, Managing Director of Wealth Solutions at Informa Financial Intelligence. "By leveraging each other's strengths and capabilities, we are increasing our ability to provide actionable market insights to more financial institutions around the world."
As a market leader in intelligence and software solutions for investment management firms and institutions of all sizes, Informa Financial Intelligence will provide Aapryl with access to quantitative and qualitative data on Global Separately Managed Account products in its robust PSN database. Informa Financial Intelligence's Zephyr will be able to add more product data to Aapryl's platform going forward as the latter's capabilities expand.
The Aapryl platform empowers clients by streamlining and improving the efficacy of their manager research, selection, monitoring and portfolio construction processes, as well as reducing risk within a portfolio. Using the proprietary Aapryl Score, users can screen for managers which are most likely to outperform their peer groups over the next 3 years providing unique insight never available before. Aapryl's regression techniques build fully investable portfolio replications to create performance benchmarks as well as Aapryl Peer Groups that reflect a manager's factor biases and allow investors to more accurately evaluate whether a manager's relative performance is attributable to style effects or changes in their skill. Aapryl also offers the ability to construct optimized portfolios of skilled managers, and determine if and to what extent a manager or portfolio of managers is susceptible to crowded trade risk.
"We are very excited to partner with an industry leader like Informa Financial Intelligence to bring Aapryl to market by leveraging the PSN Separately Managed Accounts data," said David Andrade, General Manager at Aapryl. "Additionally, Informa Financial Intelligence's sales and account management distribution network will help us expand and strengthen our relationships in the institutional space, and enable more institutions and investors to access our tools for improving manager selection."

About Aapryl
Aapryl is a financial technology company that provides investors with cutting edge tools which integrate our patent pending methodology for a better way to identify investment managers, build portfolios, and manage risk. Additionally, Aapryl has a Manager Diagnostic analytical tool for investment managers wanting to understand how they are being viewed by investors and consultants, comparing their results relative to their peers. Because many systems that investors use provide statistics on a manager's past, investors are often choosing investment managers without any insight into how they might perform going forward. Aapryl solves this problem by leveraging a unique patent pending methodology that allows investors to identify managers that are most likely to be successful in the future. We built the methodology by applying years of research as practitioners which has led us to develop statistical methodologies that are predictive of future results.
