ID Media Hires Kimberly Miller as SVP, Director of Media Strategy
NEW YORK, Oct. 25, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- ID Media, an Interpublic Group media agency, has hired Kimberly Miller—a 15-year media veteran—as SVP, Director of Media Strategy.
Based in the agency's Los Angeles office, she will oversee media strategy on accounts including Intuit, Universal Technical Institute and Match.com.
With experience on both the agency and client sides, Kimberly brings a holistic understanding of media. At ZenithOptimedia, where she was most recently a VP, Kimberly used innovative media solutions to drive results for clients, including 20th Century Home Entertainment and Jenny Craig.
Prior to that, she was a VP at IPG sister agency Initiative. While there, a campaign her team developed for Lionsgate's DVD release of The Condemned—an action thriller about 10 convicts fighting for survival on an island—won MediaPost's 2008 "Best Magazine Print Ad" and numerous industry accolades.
A multimedia professional, Kimberly also previously honed her media skills on the client side—at entertainment powerhouses Warner Bros. and Paramount Pictures. With media becoming increasingly ROI and analytics driven, however, she wanted to join an accountable media services agency.
"In this day and age, agency partners have to be accountable for all of the media that we place for clients. Every banner, video and TV ad that we place for them has to tie back to some metric or result, and ID Media has proven its expertise in that," Kimberly says.
Added Lynn Fantom, CEO of ID Media: "We are delighted to recruit Kimberly back into the IPG family. Her strategic and client services skills are exceptional. She's a valuable addition to our leadership team in Los Angeles."
No stranger to the IPG family, Kimberly began her career at sister agencies Foote, Cone & Belding (now Draftfcb) and Lowe and Partners after graduating from the University of California, San Diego with a B.A. in psychology.
