DETROIT, Sept. 21, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- I-9 Advantage™, the leading provider of web-based Form I-9 and E-Verify software, announces it will reveal new enhancements to its product suite at the 20th Annual HR Technology Conference in Las Vegas from October 10-13, 2017 at booth 2754.
Federal regulations regarding Form I-9 and E-Verify are complex and can often be confusing to many hiring professionals. Yet noncompliance with these requirements, including simple administrative errors, can lead to detrimental fines and penalties. The handling of documentation for foreign nationals authorized to work in the U.S. during the Form I-9 process is of no exception, and can often pose a challenge to employers.
I-9 Advantage has introduced new features, built on existing capabilities, to answer the demand for assistance with immigration document categories, for Employment Authorization Documents (EAD). This new functionality supplies users with all of the necessary information for EAD extensions such as, Temporary Protected Status, and STEM. This upgrade helps users take the guess work out of completing the Form I-9 and simplifies the entire process.
Additional enhancements include the ability to easily correct mistakes or omissions on the Form I-9 by securely sending Section 1 to the employee to revise or correct. This feature also allows users to send Section 2 to an authorized representative to assist with revisions, and is especially beneficial for remote hires, where the employer is not able to be physically present with an employee.
Users who participate in E-Verify and hire nationwide talent will now enjoy a simple solution for the Tentative Non-confirmation (TNC) process. This enables employees to receive the Further Action Notice and the Referral Date Confirmation letter from a remote location, where they can take their time reviewing the documents before choosing to contest or not. Once the employee signs the document the employer will receive a copy and can then proceed to refer the employee to the appropriate agency.
"We are excited to announce the next generation of our remote hire capabilities. The key workflow advancements for remote employees improve the candidate experience, and enable organizations to minimize the burden of ongoing Form I-9 compliance", stated, Marc Villella, President of I-9 Advantage.
The chief motivation behind the enhancements is I-9 Advantage's commitment to continuously improving the compliance software suite to meet evolving federal regulations, innovation, and security standards.
The new developments further illustrate I-9 Advantage's dedication to delivering superior solutions and the best user experience possible, while providing clients with the essential resources, tools, and support to ensure their success.
