I-9 Advantage Announces Release of Enhancements to Form I-9 and E-Verify Software at the 20th Annual HR Technology Conference in Las Vegas

Federal regulations regarding Form I-9 and E-Verify are complex and can often be confusing to many hiring professionals. Yet noncompliance with these requirements, including simple administrative errors, can lead to detrimental fines and penalties. The handling of documentation for foreign nationals authorized to work in the U.S. during the Form I-9 process is of no exception, and can often pose a challenge to employers.

I-9 Advantage has introduced new features, built on existing capabilities, to answer the demand for assistance with immigration document categories, for Employment Authorization Documents (EAD). Additional enhancements include the ability to easily correct mistakes or omissions on the Form I-9 by securely sending Section 1 to the employee to revise or correct. Users who participate in E-Verify and hire nationwide talent will now enjoy a simple solution for the Tentative Non-confirmation (TNC) process. This enables employees  to receive the Further Action Notice and the Referral Date Confirmation letter from a remote location, where they can take their time reviewing the documents before choosing to contest or not. Once the employee signs the document the employer will receive a copy and can then proceed to refer the employee to the appropriate agency.
