TROY, Mich., July 26, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Hybrid digital agency MartinJAY Digital has won a coveted spot on iMedia's 2011 25 East Coat Agencies to Watch. The annual list aims to recognize the accomplishments of agencies that have advanced digital and interactive marketing through "big ideas, brilliant creative, cutting-edge technology and the passionate pursuit of excellence," according to iMedia, in its introduction of the list.
iMedia pointed to MartinJAY's work on RipIt Energy Drinks F-BOMB flavor and Levi's platform for the brand's Shape What's To Come Campaign. The campaign includes an online community to connect like-minded women across the globe and empowers young women to create and share digital journals that show what they're doing to shape the future.
MartinJAY's RipIt Facebook app is targeted at males between the ages of 18 and 24. The app enables users to target their Facebook friend with four kinds of messages (F-Bombed Props, F-Bombing Invites, Everyday F-Bombs and F-Bombing Smack Talk). Each category has 15 different message options to choose from. Once a message has been selected, the user can post it on the receiver's Facebook wall or send as a private message.
MartinJAY Digital "created a straightforward, clever Facebook app that is an extension of the product name and an obvious winner for the audience," iMedia said in its "Agencies to Watch" feature.
"We're honored to be included in iMedia's 2011 list with peer agencies whose work we respect," said Ken Stock, MartinJAY Digital Executive Creative Director. "We're proud of our team and excited by the work. It's thrilling when you get to combine work with things that you're passionate about. We get to do that here every day."
Also included on the list were New York City-based Firstborn, Brooklyn-based Big Spaceship and Boston-based Arnold.
MartinJAY in June announced it had acquired the assets of Social Blaze, a Los Angeles, California-based developer of social media management and analytics service. MartinJAY purchased the company's intellectual assets, including patent rights, source code and domain names.
"It's an exciting time to be working in the digital space," Stock said, "and an even more exciting time to be at MartinJAY."
