Hunter Roberts Construction Group Welcomes David Kane, Senior Vice President Of The New York Office

NEW YORK, Feb. 7, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Hunter Roberts Construction Group (Hunter Roberts) is pleased to introduce David Kane, Senior Vice President of the New York office. David will oversee the pursuit and completion of public construction projects executed by the New York office, with a particular focus on long-term development projects and the company's relationships with New York City agencies.

With 28 years of experience in engineering, construction, and program management across the nation, David brings immeasurable experience, depth of knowledge, and relationships to his new role. His move to Hunter Roberts follows four years as the Chief Operating Officer at a national MWBE construction management firm, where he directed operations for all New York-based company divisions, developed new business, and expanded the company's client base. Prior to that, he spent 15 years with the New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) Capital Management program, where he managed a portfolio of more than $3 billion and championed more than 300 individual projects.

David has managed public and private construction and development in the institutional, sports, industrial, public space, infrastructure, transportation, and resiliency areas. Notable projects from his portfolio include Columbia University's Manhattanville development, Superstorm Sandy recovery programs, The High Line, Theatre for a New Audience, Flushing Meadows Park Natatorium and Ice Rink, Staten Island Yankees Ballpark, Icahn Track and Field Stadium, and the Hunts Point Fish Market.

David holds a Master of Civil Engineering/Construction Management and Master of City and Regional Planning degrees from University of California at Berkeley, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Brown University.
