CAMPBELL, Calif., Feb. 19, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- hopTo (OTCQB/OTCBB: HPTO), the most comprehensive mobile workspace, is making it even easier for anyone with an iPad to access, create, edit and share documents with the launch of the latest version of its app. The new version will add SkyDrive to its list of cloud storage partners, among other new and convenient features.

hopTo users already have access to Microsoft Office® files (Word® documents, Excel® spreadsheets and PowerPoint® presentations) within cloud storage services like Box, Dropbox, Google Drive, PC and now SkyDrive - all from the iPad. The app is free and user-friendly.
"Our goal is to make users, be they business professionals, students or bloggers, as productive on-the-go as they are on their home computers and laptops," said Eldad Eilam, CEO of hopTo. "We are the only solution that combines various cloud storage services with full access to Microsoft Office documents and files from an iPad."
Within the native iPad workspace, hopTo lets users multitask with several files and storage locations open at once. Users are able to search across their personal or work PC and cloud storage for full remote access to documents whenever, wherever they are needed. The new update now allows users to open Excel, PowerPoint and Word files in hopTo from other apps.
"The concept of your own 'personal cloud' is gaining traction," continued Mr. Eilam, "So much of our precious time and energy are wasted toggling between different digital documents that are saved in different places. We are creating an opportunity for people to expand their window of productivity to include not just the time spent behind a desk, but the time and place that is most convenient for them."
Other updates to the app include:
- Open Excel, PowerPoint & Word files in hopTo from other apps
- Quickstart Guide
- Access to Excel & Word password-protected files
- Copy and paste Excel & Word content
- General stability and performance improvements
hopTo is available for free on the Apple App Store: http://appstore.com/hopto under the name "hopTo (Office Cloud & Mobile Productivity Workspace)."
