LAS VEGAS, Oct. 29, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- As National Domestic Violence Awareness Month comes to an end, one of America's most iconic landmarks will glow purple to honor the thousands of survivors, victims and families who have been affected by domestic violence.
HOOVERDAM will be transformed in an exceptional display happening tonight, October 29th, thanks to the approval of the Bureau of Reclamation. Spearheaded by SafeNest, Nevada's largest domestic violence nonprofit, organizations from across the state will unite for this unique show of strength.

Production Resource Group of Las Vegas will facilitate the transformation using purple gels on each of the base lights. The 726.4' tall dam will shine purple from the foundation rock at the mighty Colorado River to the crest of the Dam.
