Hoover. Nobody does it like you.™
At the 2012 International Housewares Show, Hoover is showcasing three products every family needs to help keep their homes fresh and clean.
- The newly re-designed Hoover® TwinTank™ Steam Mop cleans and disinfects the entire home as well as removes everyday dirt and grime. It kills more than 99.99 percent of bacteria, comes with the SteamPlus™ Cleaning Solution that is 100 percent biodegradable, and works well on hardwood, laminate, tile, engineered flooring, vinyl, sealed stone and carpeting with the specialized carpet adaptor.
- For washing carpets and upholstery, the Hoover® MaxExtract® line features technology to make the job quick and easy. The system automatically calculates the best water to detergent ratio, makes it easy to remove dust, water and grime, and provides a fast drying time so you don't have to stay off carpets for hours. The DualV® nozzle provides suction from edge to edge, sucking up the widest path possible, while the patented SpinScrub® brushes clean all sides of carpet fibers. In addition, the SmartTanks™ System features two tanks for clean and dirty water, so you can easily fill, empty and rinse each tank separately.
- Weighing just 12 pounds, the Hoover® WindTunnel® Air is the most powerful, lightweight, multi-cyclonic, bagless, no-loss-of-suction upright vacuum. The HEPA Media Filter helps trap 99.97 percent of dust, pollen, pet dander, and dirt, while the patented WindTunnel® technology removes embedded dirt and minimizes blowback or scatter on carpet.
Dirt Devil® Fights Dirty®
From hand vacs to compact uprights, Dirt Devil® is introducing the newest members of its Fight Dirty® line-up for 2012.
- With a powerhouse legacy in hand vacuums, Dirt Devil® continues the tradition with The Gator® 18V Hand Vacuum with detachable brushroll and built-in crevice tool. All Gator® series hand vacs feature a flip-open dirt cup for easy emptying – which means your hands never have to touch the mess. The power brush roll easily slides off and on allowing easy cleaning transitions from carpet and upholstery to hard services. It's lightweight, cordless, easy to carry, and features smart-charging technology.
- The new UpKeep™ Turbo upright helps fight everyday cleaning needs with simple, smart innovations. Compact, lightweight and easy to maneuver from room to room, the cyclonic technology creates an added level of dirt separation, while the easy empty dirt cup makes for mess-free clean up. On-board tools keep things in one place while the premium stretch hose provides additional reach for stairs, and the 25-foot power cord gives more freedom to move from room to room without having to re-plug.
- Cleaning can be hands-free with the new Whiskers™ SV Robotic Vacuum. It sweeps and vacuums hard floors with the touch of a button. Simply place in an enclosed area, switch it on, and it does the cleaning for you, moving under furniture, beds, and around obstacles.
