Hooters of Jacksonville Landing to Host a Bake Sale Benefiting Valued Employee Battling Cancer
ATLANTA, Oct. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- On October 9th the Hooters of Jacksonville Landing will be hosting a bake sale to raise money for Leon James, a valued cook at the store who, while personally battling prostate cancer, tragically lost his son on September 25th. The Hooters Girls, staff and Landing tenants will be providing goods for the sale scheduled from 10 AM until 6 PM on Saturday at the store, located at 2 Independent Drive.
"Leon is a hardworking and dedicated employee that has been here since the store opened 4 years ago," stated General Manager, Eric Miller. "It is hard to see bad things happen to good people and I am proud that I work with a team willing to pull together and support a member of their Hooters family in need."
