NEW YORK, Jan. 3, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Dauphin Media Group is pleased to announce the successful introduction of Holmes: The Magazine To Make It Right within the US market. Distributed by Time Warner Retail, the first issue hit stands in November and is growing by an average of 1,000 new subscribers per week. As the magazine's demographic of readers is 50% male and 50% female, with 53% of subscribers being between the ages of 25-55, the shelter publication is designed to serve as a manual for every homeowner.

The second issue, "All Things Green," hits newsstands on January 14, 2011 and will feature content including a Renovation Checklist that informs readers how to plan, budget and hire for the project. It will also showcase six green residences in North America, recommend 25 Ways to Green Your Home, and suggestions on how to Plant Your Roof. Regularly featured content includes an introduction from Mike Holmes, Disaster Letters, and Ask the Pro, for which various industry experts help solve readers' predicaments. The issue will be a total of 112 pages.
Holmes: The Magazine To Make It Right is already seeing an overwhelming response from both subscribers and advertisers as the "The Manual for Every Homeowner" is gaining over 1,000 new subscribers per week. Holmes and crew recently completed a seven city tour to promote the magazine, which was only advertised through social media announcements on outlets such as Facebook, Fan Newsletters and Twitter. Holmes saw audiences upwards of 400-500 people during the traditionally quiet week of Thanksgiving. Similarly, due to their advertisement in the November 2010 issue of Holmes: The Magazine To Make It Right, One2flush, a dual flush valve supplier for leaky toilets, saw a 600% increase in their web traffic in the first few days the issue was on newsstands.
Future issues of Holmes: The Magazine To Make It Right will include real life stories where Holmes Magazine will rescue duped homeowners; showcase the latest products, websites, and news for homeowners; report on the newest trends and innovations in the building industry; and the best materials and processes for homes. Trends and popular homeowner topics of upcoming issues will range from the greenest homes, to specials on heating and cooling, kitchens and bathrooms, and air quality.
