As part of the Hip Hop Hall of Fame Museum's Educational Mission Hip Hop Legends will also participate in pre-show community outreach activities that will include visiting local schools and youth programs to speak with kids and young people encouraging them about the importance of getting a good education, and perfecting their crafts and skills by working hard to overcome the odds to achieve success in any chosen field or profession because #HipHopCares.
'These type of classic hip hop events are the very essence of the Hip Hop Hall of Fame + Museum, a beneficiary of the concert, to celebrate peace, love, unity, and having fun - the fundamental principles of Hip Hop Music & Culture,' stated co-producer JT Thompson, creator of the Hip Hop Hall of Fame Awards TV Show that aired on BET in the 1990s, and founder/chairman of the Hip Hop Hall of Fame Museum. Its Hip Hop Museum has pivoted to Harlem and will announce its location later this fall during Hall of Fame Awards Week in November, and plans to open its facility in 2016. It will feature a Hall of Fame, museum, restaurant, retail gift shop, arcade, TV studio, and concert lounge producing over 100 live events, concerts, and other various multi-media celebrity driven content per year for a hungry national and international audience.
The Hip Hop Hall of Fame and LiveNation have also entered discussions about expansion of these positive and highly entertaining concerts mixed with community outreach efforts nationally and internationally utilizing the Official Hip Hop Hall of Fame brand for a 20 City National Tour. Mayors have already expressed interest in the concert tour coming to their respective cities, as Classic Hip Hop Music now has its own formatted radio stations around the country. This tour would reach and entertain tens of thousands of loyal fans of all ages, and also serve thousands of local kids in disadvantaged communities with positive and uplifting education messages while also generating tens of millions of impressions from the events, press, national media, and the community & educational outreach activities for our corporate partners and sponsors.
In every tour city we will have Hip Hop Legends visit schools, youth organizations, and colleges & universities sitting on panel discussions talking about education, entrepreneurship, healthy lifestyles, fashion, urban community socio-economic empowerment, and hip hop music & culture history. The Hip Hop Hall of Fame would also have a traveling Hip Hop History Exhibit on display and also collect memorabilia from local hip hop artists & celebrities for its museum. The events will also provide some financial benefits for the local youth organizations in the cities on the tour. For more information and press inquiries contact Ben Davis.
