Himfr Reports That the Wholesale Price of Edible Oil in China is Rising
BEIJING, April 20 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- Himfr.com, one of China's leading B2B search platforms with more than 30 B2B industry websites to its name, reports that the wholesale price of edible oil is rising.
Himfr reports that, as China restricted the import of Argentinean soybean oil, early this month, Beijing's wholesale price of edible oil has risen sharply. In contrast, the retail market is still relatively stable; the price shows no obvious fluctuations at the market.
Yesterday, the wholesale price of soybean oil in bulk was 7,850 yuan per ton, which is up 470 yuan per ton, compared with the end of last month.
The range of increase is about 6.36%. The price of wholesale salad oil wholesale is 7,800 yuan per ton. Compared with last Friday, this is an increase of 3.17%. Rapeseed oil prices remain relatively stable. The wholesale price of second-rate rapeseed oil in bulk is 8,300 yuan per ton, a rise of 50 yuan compared with last month. However, the retail market's bulk edible oil prices have not seen significant volatility. Prices have been relatively stable, with small package oil prices remaining very stable.
Himfr analyzes that the main cause of the current round of oil price increases is China's restrictions on the import of soybean oil from Argentina. As domestic soybean oil stocks become higher and soybean oil imported from Brazil enters the domestic market, oil market supply will remain adequate, so prices will not rise substantially.
