CINCINNATI, Nov. 1, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Procter & Gamble's (NYSE: PG) Charmin, today announced a nationwide job search for someone to fill the position of Charmin's King or Queen of the Throne and earn a royal stipend of $50,000. Celebrating the fifth year of the Charmin Restrooms in Times Square, Charmin is looking for loyal Charmin users to share their story for a chance to reign over the New York City Charmin Restrooms during this holiday season.

To enter, consumers can visit www.EnjoyTheGo.com to upload a two-minute video submission or attend the last in-person audition (Chicago on November 3) to describe why they "Enjoy the Go." Charmin will award the semi-finalist Charmin Go Nation representatives with $500 for being the person from their state or the District of Columbia who best embodies Charmin's "Enjoy the Go" spirit. Following the announcement, the selected Charmin Go Nation representatives will then have three weeks to prove who "Enjoys the Go" the most. Based on points received for various activities including a toilet seat decoration and State Media challenge, the top five representatives will be flown to New York City for three days and two nights where they will finally compete for the $50,000 grand prize at the Charmin Restrooms in Times Square on December 28.

"We are always looking for fresh and interesting ways to engage our consumers, whether it is in the Charmin Restrooms in Times Square, on the go, or at home. We're looking for someone who's passionate about Charmin to reign as our King or Queen, and be royally compensated for their 'love of the loo.'"
The entry process will run through 5:00 pm ET November 7, after which semi-finalists will be selected and announced on November 22. The five finalists will be announced on December 20. Each finalist will be flown to New York City for a final competition on December 28th to be crowned King or Queen of the Throne, and rule over the restrooms for four days, and earn a King's Ransom of $50,000.
