NEW YORK, Aug. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- HedgeServ, a fund administrator recognized for providing innovative solutions to the alternative investment industry, has received the highest overall average score in Global Custodian magazine's 2010 Hedge Fund Administration Survey.

This is the first year HedgeServ has participated in the survey, which is published annually. In its 15th survey, Global Custodian gathered responses from 1,420 clients of 38 hedge fund administrators from around the globe. The survey is intended to measure service quality and value in 15 categories, across a full range of fund characteristics such as size, strategy and location.
In a write-up accompanying the results Global Custodian commented, "No respondent can yet think of a weakness at HedgeServ beyond its newness, and even that seems an advantage in terms of technology."
