Continuing Pro Bono Work Supporting HealthClass 2.0, a Groundbreaking Public-School Program Empowering Conversations About Health, Food and Exercise
NEW YORK, Sept. 9, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Havas Lynx New York, a leading health and wellness agency, has designed and launched healthclass.org, a new digital presence for nonprofit public-school program HealthClass 2.0, as well as a new logo for the organization.
HealthClass 2.0 supports students in learning about health through a powerful, multifaceted framework: combining exercise with vocal affirmations, engaging in healthy and mindful eating, and considering the power of individual decision-making in a social context.

HealthClass 2.0 offers a holistic approach to health education that frames fitness and food education as core to developing critical thinking skills and a strong sense of self among 6th- through 12th-graders. The program targets disadvantaged inner-city schools, for which it develops and launches physical education and nutrition programs that contain underlying verbal affirmations to help students better assimilate the health information that will allow them to make good decisions for a healthy future.
