WHY: |
Technology has evolved dramatically in the past 10 years, in many ways to improve everyday life. However, perpetrators of abuse frequently and insidiously use technology to stalk, harass and otherwise abuse their victims. |
The Safety Net Project at NNEDV has been helping victim advocates stay a step ahead of offenders and learn how technology can be one of many methods used to perpetrate abuse. The project has also worked with major technology companies to help create products and services that are as safe as possible for survivors. |
