Happy Fuel gives users more ways to discover and share happy moments with new mobile and web apps
NEW YORK, Nov. 21, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The happiness-based microblogging and social network Happy Fuel released an expanded mobile app and new web app today. You can download the app at the Apple App Store.
The updated iPhone app allows users to create, store, and share photos, videos, voice memos, locations, messages, and songs, and then gauge how happy each moment makes them feel.
Optimized for iOS 7, the app also features a new user interface and functionality to let users connect with each other and share content privately or publicly within Happy Fuel, as well as other social networks like Facebook and Twitter.
"People already share and stumble upon happy moments on social networks and content sites like SoulPancake," said Elizabeth Elfenbein, founder of Happy Fuel. "We believe there is a need for a destination where you can easily post and find 'happy media.' In a sense, it's like Tumblr meets Upworthy."
Happy Fuel also launched an all-new web app, happyfuel.me, where users can create their own "happy wall" — a personal place to share the things that make them happy, and view highlights from their Happy Fuel friends.
"Happy Fuel is about giving people an engaging way to 'live in the happy™,'" added Elfenbein. "And the more ways we can help them do this, the better. We hope people will be inspired to be more aware of their own happiness and spread happiness to others."
