Hallmark Invites Couples to #CareEnough this Valentine's Day
Video series highlights diverse couples' real love stories
KANSAS CITY, Mo., Jan. 28, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- In time for Valentine's Day, Hallmark has launched a new video series to celebrate romantic love of all kinds. Hallmark's #CareEnough campaign at Valentine's Day highlights the real love stories of real couples. In video interviews, each diverse couple demonstrates the emotional power of a Hallmark card and heartfelt message.
"Valentine's Day prompts people to care enough to say what's truly in their hearts," said Rob Reeder, Hallmark marketing manager of greetings. "As demonstrated by this campaign, our Valentine's Day cards help people find the words to express themselves in a deeper, more meaningful way than with a text or post. A Hallmark card gets you started, and then you add your personal message to make it perfectly yours."
Featured in one of the #CareEnough videos is Jim, who still has the piece of paper on which Melody originally wrote her phone number. Jim and Melody have now been married for 40 years. Robin and Jason share the story of living out their dream of being dads. Cynthia and John tell how they knew they would get married from the first time they met. Dave, a former member of the U.S. military, says about Amy, "Everything that she is, I need."
Each couple's love story is now viewable at Hallmark's YouTube channel, and at Hallmark.com/valentine.
"Hallmark seeks to help people emotionally connect, in every life, every day," said Reeder. "With this campaign, we are highlighting the 'every life' aspect of our mission, as we share the caring stories of all kinds of couples because love is love."
Hallmark hopes couples all over the country will get involved with the campaign in social media and be inspired to share their own proclamations of love for someone using the #CareEnough hashtag. This is a return to the well-known Hallmark ad campaign "When you care enough to send the very best" with a modern twist.
With more than 1,300 Valentine's Day cards available, Hallmark offers something for everyone. Look for the latest designs and formats wherever Hallmark products are sold nationwide.
