On January 30, 2019, the Financial Times reported that an internal Wirecard presentation outlined potential violations of Singapore law, "including 'falsification of accounts' and 'money laundering.'"  The presentation reportedly was prepared by a Wirecard compliance officer for a presentation to the Company's senior executives.

Since this news, the prices of Wirecard securities have significantly fallen.
