Gymboree Celebrates One Big Happy Moments
New Gymboree brand platform, "One Big Happy," launches with company's first ever full-scale marketing campaign including network TV, print, digital, and in-store signage

Today, Gymboree—makers of cute, quality, coordinated clothing and accessory collections—launches its new brand platform, "One Big Happy," celebrating all of life's happy moments, big and small. To support the new brand platform, Gymboree is unveiling its first ever network TV commercial, which begins airing today. The commercial showcases a series of one big happy moments within vignettes—one big happy birthday party, one big happy wake-up call, one big happy dress-up—and highlights the head-to-toe looks that Gymboree is offering in its Fall 2015 collections for every occasion, big and small. Throughout the commercial, fans can have fun spotting household favorites, like dressing up the family dog, a game of tug-o-war, and even a "one big happy dance party" cameo from YouTube mom/daughter sensation, Tianne and Heaven King. Each vignette is featured in slow motion capturing moments in split seconds, and is set to a toy instrument parent/child cover of Depeche Mode's "Just Can't Get Enough." The cover is sung in part by children who regularly attend Gymboree Play & Music classes—a nod to its nearly 40-year heritage.
Collectively, the commercial tells the timeless story of everyday life with children, the genuine happy moments that make life with kids so cherished, sweet and fun.
The #OneBigHappy conversation continues beyond TV with a fully-integrated marketing campaign, including in-store visuals; print advertising in Real Simple, InStyle, Parents and Family Fun magazines, as well as digital, online and social activations. Gymboree stores will be giving away "One Big Happy" surprises, like stickers that celebrate "One Big Happy Halloween" and "One Big Happy Holiday," and balloons that will be handed out throughout launch weekend (September 19 and 20). On onebighappy.com, fans can customize their own photos with layered stickers to memorialize moments like one big happy Thanksgiving and one big happy snow fall – and then view an aggregate of #OneBigHappy content from the Gymboree community.
