MRI Program graduates have shown great results for several years.
"Such a high passing rate is not a surprise to me because our students are well trained in MRI Physics, Patient Care, Sectional Anatomy and Fundamental Principles of MRI. The program is designed in such way that students start preparation for licensure examination from day one that ensures success," said Elena Danilova, MRI Program Coordinator at Gurnick Academy of Medical Arts.
Currently Gurnick Academy offers an Associate of Science Degree in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Program. The length of the program is 72 weeks. The program is based on the parameters suggested by the Joint Review Commission on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT), the Association of Educators in Imaging and Radiologic Sciences (AEIRS), and the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT). AS in MRI program integrates general education component to complement technical courses.
Gurnick Academy of Medical Arts (San Mateo and Modesto campuses), MRI Technology Program and Associate of Science in MRI Program are recognized and accredited by ARMRIT and recognized by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
One of the program goals is to prepare students to take and pass the ARMRIT and ARRT (MRI) examination.
